My name’s Mario and I’ve been a Writer/Editor at a slew of magazines, books, websites and bathroom stalls for the past 15 years.

Allow my resume to fill in the details as I paint in broad strokes here. I’m someone whose affinity for writing began at a very early age. In fact, I began composing short stories long before I could spell. During first grade I was shipped off to an “exclusive” art program (by Gravesend, Brooklyn standards, anyway!) and since then my passion has only grown stronger.

I attended the High School Of Art & Design and then SUNY Purchase, where I further honed my visual arts and writing skills—still finding the time to drink beer, join Skull & Bones and TP Dean Wormer’s House.

For the past 13 years I have worked at Blue Horizon Media, where in the position of Executive Editor, I published four monthly magazines simultaneously. With the help of my talented staff of Editors, Art Directors and Production/Pre-Press personnel we put out decent, consistently creative work that often times bordered on the awesome.

Along the way I’ve been instrumental in designing and writing some rather successful websites.

I am currently searching for a full-time job opportunity where I can share what I’ve learned with a new organization.
